Degerfors is in good shape on the Superettan. On Saturday it was time for another win, this time away from home against Norrby.

The team got off to a dream start after just three minutes when Victor Edvardsen would score the goal 1-0 for Degerfors, who could relax immediately. The wizard stood Axel Lindahl stops.

The first half was not much more exciting. It no longer meant that Degerfors went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

Daniel Janevski increased the visitors’ lead by volleying away from a pass from the right Johan Bertilsson.

Norrby tried to find a tie at the end of the match, but failed. Instead, the match ended 2-0 against Degerfors, thus extending the league lead at Superettan.

– It felt good, we won 2-0 and kept a clean sheet. We may not have done everything quite right as we were a little careless, but otherwise it was a good combination on our part, Janevski tells Dplay.

– I think the whole team did well and it was good to do the 90 minutes. It’s just a matter of getting on and driving, continue.

The team now has 46 points and is eight points ahead of runner-up Halmtad, who also plays his match on Saturday, against Ljungskile.

– We keep driving, we work hard for each other and every workout is rock hard. We went in to win every game, so it’s only to continue the last ten (the games) now, says Janevski.

Degerfors’ next game at Superettan will be played on Monday 5 October at home against Västerås.
