Degenerating robberies may be behind the stabbings in Rissne

On Saturday night, shortly after 8:30 p.m., the police received several calls about a man who was found stabbed at an ATM in Rissne, Sundbyberg. A person wearing a white mouth guard had been seen fleeing the scene on foot.

The man with a knife was taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. The man, who was 45 years old, died at night.

The perpetrator continues in general despite the fact that the police from the beginning deployed great resources on the scene with various police patrols, including dog patrols and police helicopters. The fact that the murder occurred at an ATM means that the police are investigating whether it is a robbery that has degenerated.

– Of course, it is one of the reasons we are investigating, says Per Fahlström from the Stockholm Police.

Nothing suggests either that the victim and the aggressor had known each other before.

– It does not appear that the plaintiff had a part in how this came about, Helena Boström Thomas told the Stockholm Police on Sunday.

Expressen writes that one person was arrested in the case Sunday night, but was released a little later. The prosecution has not declared whether the person remains a suspect.

At the ATM where the deed happened there is a surveillance camera. Footage should be obtained from him and from any other camera in the area to see if any part of the process has been captured on film.

– We also have a reinforced police presence in the area to be available to receive more information from witnesses and answer questions, says Per Fahlström.

With the help of witnesses, the police have obtained a report on the author. He is described as being approximately 180-190 cm tall and at that point he should have worn:

* Jacket to the waist, blue with white print on the back. Hood of assignments.

* Black pants with white details.

* Red shoes.

* White mouth guard.
