Jiménez, meanwhile, was performed on a stretcher, with oxygen, but according to Sky Sports, he regained consciousness during the game.
With just four minutes played between Arsenal and Wolverhampton, David Luiz and Raúl Jiménez went to a head duel, after a corner for Arsenal.
The players merged correctly and both were in the penalty area, and the medical teams were summoned on the field.
After a while, Luiz was able to stand up, but he was bleeding profusely from his forehead. He was bandaged and played the rest of the first half, but was substituted at half-time.
Performed on a stretcher
For Jiménez, it seemed worse. He appeared to pass out from the blow and was examined for a long time before being carried on a stretcher, wearing an oxygen mask.
Ambulances could be heard arriving in the background. According to English media, including The Independent, he has gone to the hospital.
After just over an hour, Sky Sports reported that he is conscious and has responded to the treatment he has been given.
Little more than ten minutes later, the game could continue. At the time of writing, it is 2-1 for Wolverhampton.
