Corona infection has entered the hockey team.

Joel Lundqvist, 38, fell ill during the national team’s break in early November.

– I isolated myself and tried on immediately. It turned out to be covid, Frölunda’s team captain told GT.

Now Frölunda has received his second confirmed crown case in the player squad. Jan Mursak has tested positive.

– It has tested positive (for covid-19). But it feels pretty good, Frölunda’s coach Roger Rönnberg told Rakapuckar.com after training on Friday.

“Feel better”

The 32-year-old Slovenian has not met any other player in Frölunda since he fell ill and no one else at the club is currently showing the slightest symptoms.

The ambition is for Mursak to return soon.

– He feels better, we hope and believe that he is with (and trains) on Monday.

Frölunda, who has not played a match since the big loss to Brynäs (1-7) on Saturday, will face Djurgården at home on Saturday. Then Robin Alvarez, Mattias Norlinder and Theodor Lennström return, writes Rakapuckar.com. Anders Grönlund (suspended), Johan Sundström, Linus Nässén and Elmer Söderblom (all three injured) are missing.
