With the world of sports in pause mode, the UFC is one of the few events that has now begun.

But it can cost for MMA stars.

According to Reuters, a fighter can lose money if he openly criticizes how the UFC handles the crown center.

The Reuters news agency has noted the contract signed between the active MMA stars and the UFC organizer ahead of the events in Jacksonville, Florida, where three gala events will be held in eight days.

Under the eight-page contract, assets can lose portions of their wages and bonuses if they publicly criticize security at the corona virus gala.

A clause makes it clear that “the active person must not communicate to any person or entity that the event has taken place or will take place without the appropriate safety and health measures being taken, whether it be covid-19 or not.”

It also states that if a violation violates this clause, the company can “revoke all or part of all the sums of prizes won. […]”

A UFC spokesman declined to comment on the Reuters clause, referring instead to UFC President Dana White’s comment to Yahoo:

– If a coward says something that is not true, if he says that we did not prove anyone for this, the agreement would be broken. But if he says something that is true, that is his opinion, it is different, White tells Yahoo.
