The Swedish Public Health Agency, the Swedish Civil Contingency Agency, and county administrative boards are tasked with coordinating and strengthening information about the pandemic for the public.
“The pandemic is not over and the increasing spread of the infection must be taken very seriously. It is important that the authorities continue to communicate the advice and restrictions that have been issued and that all follow them,” said Social Affairs Minister Lena Hallengren according to a press release.
The goal is for more people to comply with current advice and restrictions, especially local general advice issued during the last two weeks. “Communication should be especially aimed at those groups and situations where the spread of infection increases or runs the risk of increasing, and where compliance with advice and recommendations is considered deficient,” the government writes.
