A young man on a moped was stopped for a check by two policemen at Angered in Gothenburg last year, who was caught on surveillance cameras and police body cameras.

When the police stopped the cyclist, a large group of men who were nearby reacted. Many of the men are known gang criminals in the area, according to police.

The men surrounded the two policemen and the atmosphere turned angry and threatening. Despite the police asking the men to back off, they remain there, and the police patrol was forced to call in reinforcements.

Suspect convicted murderer

One of the men who will be brought to justice for the threats against the police is a previously convicted murderer, whom GP was the first to report.

In the movie, he is heard saying, among other things:

– If you use that damn cane, I’ll nail it.

The man is 35 years old and belongs to the Ali Khan criminal family network.

In 2007, he shot and killed an 18-year-old on a football field in Gårdsten. The motive must have been revenge after the man’s little brother was attacked with a knife. But the murder victim had nothing to do with the knife attack, it turned out later. The perpetrator fled abroad before he could finally be arrested, tried and prosecuted for the murder.

Before the trial in December

The man was sentenced in April this year to eight months in prison for two cases of assault. He then hit and kicked a man and a woman outside a restaurant.

In December, he is brought to justice for the Angered deeds that were captured on film. The suspicion refers to threats against an official, reports GP.

Police Chief Erik Nord has commented on the events of the film as follows:

– It is a difficult environment and, unfortunately, it is not unusual for this type of intervention. They admire me for the patience of the police.
