The thefts were committed systematically from the beginning of 2017 to the end of 2019. The total value of stolen computers, hard drives, phones and tablets amounts to almost 1.6 million SEK, according to the prosecutor.
The man was arrested after a person discovered that a computer that had been put up for sale on an auction site was marked with the identification number of government offices. The man was later set up by security police by placing hidden cameras in government offices, filming him committing a robbery.
The prosecutor claims that the man has partially confessed, but according to his lawyer, he denies the crime.
Another man, who was the one who sold the equipment, is accused of aggravated reception. He also denies the crime and claims he acted in good faith, writes DN.
