Computer confiscated as part of criminal investigation

Last week, the NY Post revealed an email correspondence showing how Hunter Biden introduced a top manager of the Burisma power company, on whose board he himself sat, to his father Joe Biden in 2015.

In light of the former vice president’s denial of speaking to his son about his affairs in Ukraine, the revelation had a huge impact.

The correspondence was found on a computer that had been sent in for repair in April 2019, and private images of Hunter Biden were also found on the computer. It is not yet confirmed if it is Hunter Biden’s computer.

Seized computer linked to criminal investigation

The NY Post also reported documents showing that the FBI seized the computer and a hard drive in December of that year.

Fox News is now reporting that the seizure is linked to a criminal investigation.

The documents obtained by the American television channel show how the FBI spoke with John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the computer repair business and that he contacted the police about the contents of the computer.

The documents have been categorized as “272D”, which, according to various sources to the channel, deals with money laundering or “unknown specified criminal activity.”

Another document shows how John Paul Mac Isaac was called to testify.

“If a criminal investigation was launched and witnesses were called, it means that both the computer and the hard drive very likely contain traces of criminal activity,” an official source told Fox News.

It is unclear if the investigation is ongoing.

Multiple sources have confirmed the documents, but it is unclear if the investigation is still ongoing and directly related to Hunter Biden.

It was Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, who first delivered documents from the hard drive to the NY Post. After that, he has been accused of being a Russian disinformation broadcaster.

According to the Washington Post, US intelligence previously warned the White House that Rudy Giuliani was the target of a Russian operation aimed at passing false information to the president.
