The accident occurred around 9 pm at the height of Gjutmyren, west of Västra Ämtervik. Police, rescue services and an ambulance rushed to the scene.
– An ambulance has arrived and is on its way. A total of four people are involved in the accident. A car was in the ditch and a car was stopped on the road when the rescue service arrived, says Linda Forsberg, head of the Bergslagen Rescue Region, at 9:20.
Horses in the middle of the road
According to police, a car was forced to turn and brake for horses on the road, after which the other motorist collided with the car.
– A car slows down because you see these horses on the road, then it touches a horse and is run over from behind by another car. But it does not seem that there is anyone who has had to be transferred to the hospital, it seems that it has gone well, says Tony Alan, head of the Bergslagen Rescue Region, at 9.50 pm.

The accident caused a stop on regional highway 238.
