Former Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to lead climate work under the presidency of Joe Biden.

Biden announced that the United States will now seek world leadership in the Pacific and Atlantic regions. He then introduced the people he nominated for top positions in federal and government agencies.
Diplomat Tony Blinken, whom the incoming president wants to see as chancellor, highlighted the importance of international cooperation in his performance Tuesday.
