At the end of the summer, Cissi Wallin launched the book “Allt som var mitt” on her own, after the publisher Atlas refused to publish it.
The Chancellor of Justice (JK) has now launched a preliminary investigation into whether Wallin was guilty of gross slander in the book, reports DN.
JK believes that there are reasons to assume that “the crime of freedom of the press has been flagrantly slandered through informed publication.”
Be prepared for a new preliminary investigation
It was in late January 2019 that Cissi Wallin was convicted of gross defamation by journalist Fredrik Virtanen after the #metoo fall 2017 incident. She was sentenced to a daily fine and a suspended sentence.
Cissi Wallin is a columnist for Expressen and has previously said that she is determined that the book may raise new criminal suspicions against her. However, Virtanen’s name is not mentioned in the book.
– It has no value for me to drop names, not yours. It is done. Now he wanted to tell the bigger story he said in connection with the book launch.
In the book, Wallin repeats her accusation against journalist Fredrik Virtanen that he raped her in 2006. She reported him to the police in 2011, but the investigation was dropped the following year for lack of evidence. Virtanen has always denied the allegations.
