Childhood friend stands trial for Emilia Lundberg’s murder in Tollarp

Today begins the trial against the 23-year-old girl suspected of having murdered Emilia Lundberg, 20.

On December 3, 2019, the police found the body of Emilia Lundberg in Vramsån, Tollarp. He has suffered a large number of injuries to his head, neck and body. The forensic examination establishes that it is a murder.

Soon after, his childhood friend, a 23-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Several witnesses have indicated that he moved into the crime scene the same day that Emilia disappeared.

The trial against the man began today in the Kristianstad District Court. Earlier, a large number of people outside the courtroom, friends and family crowded on both Emilia and the suspect. The guards were told that not everyone would have a seat in the courtroom.

The 23-year-old has always denied the accusations. His defense attorney Melka Kjellberg believes that these are clues and that there is nothing to link him to the violence perpetrated against Emilia.

Today, prosecutor Kristina Amilon presents what she believes determines the guilt of the 23-year-old.

– I demand that XX be convicted of murder. On November 22 in Vramsån, she intentionally stole Emilia Lundberg’s life by cutting and cutting her repeatedly, Kristina Amilon started her claim.

He then says that Emilia Lundberg’s mobile phone was found in Vramsån and that the technical investigation by the police shows that the last positioning of the mobile takes place at 12.31 in Vramsån. Police believe that Emilia was murdered shortly before or after that time.
