The Mora municipal fir was subjected to at least severe treatment overnight. At two in the morning, the Christmas tree was cut down with a chainsaw.
– It is the Christmas tree of the municipality in the middle of Mora that has been cut down. It’s a solid piece of about 50 feet, police spokesman Lars Hedelin tells TT.
There is no information that spruce caused damage when falling.
– I guess he fell as best he could, says Lars Hedelin.
A total of four people are suspected of participating in the felling of trees.
– A person in his 20s was holding the saw and is suspected of vandalism and also negligence in traffic, says Hedelin.
