Boseman also played the character in other Marvel movies such as “Captain America: Civil War” (2016), “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019).
Many expressed their grief on social media after the news of Chadwick Boseman’s death.
“Our hearts are broken. Your legacy will live on forever, ”Marvel Studios wrote on Twitter.
Vice President candidate Kamala Harris posted a photo of herself with Chadwick Boseman.
“He was bright, kind, wise and humble. He left us too soon, but his life made a difference,” Harris writes on Twitter.
“Brother, you were one of the most outstanding in history,” wrote actor Mark Ruffalo.
“I will miss you, my birthday brother. You were always light and love to me,” writes actor Don Cheadle.
“It’s a crushing blow,” actor / director Jordan Peele wrote on Twitter.
“This broke me,” wrote actress Issa Rae.
