The first vice president of the Center Party party, Anders W Jonsson, has decided to step down from the party. He has told the chairman of the nominating committee that he does not want to run for another two years as vice chairman of the party. Therefore, he is not running for re-election during the central meeting this fall. Then he has had the assignment for ten years.
“I know there are so many knowledgeable, skillful, and wise politicians in our party, so I feel confident that the nominating committee will have no trouble finding a new person who can take over as Vice Chairman of the Center Party. Personally, I hope I can take more and longer walks in the woods with my dogs in the future and maybe some extra work like babysitting at Gävle hospital ”, Jonsson himself writes in a Facebook post.
