There are growing signs that Joe Biden will take home the victory in the presidential election.

This is especially noticeable outside the White House, where his supporters now celebrate the results.

“Trump is used to getting what he wants, but he won’t get it today,” says Republican John Herter.

The atmosphere outside the White House is different today, three days after the election.

Aretha Franklin’s song “Respect” is played at Black Lives Matter Plaza and a woman waves the American flag.

Although the election has yet to be decided, many Democrats are celebrating what they believe will be a Joe Biden victory.

– You say when it’s ready, right? You say when Biden becomes president, right?

Cars pass by and honk at the assembled. The feeling is that it won’t be long before the American people find out who their next president will be.

– I’m done with Trump. He still doesn’t like blacks, says 39-year-old Frederick Walker.

He was born and raised in Washington and tells us that the city feels alienated by Donald Trump in the White House.

– If he wins, I don’t know what’s going on. It’ll feel like hell in here, he says.

Heartbreaking choice

The streets outside the White House are filled with more and more people waiting for change. For many, getting rid of Trump seems more important than having Biden as president.

– Only participation was historically large. But it is heartbreaking to know how divided the country is and that there are people who still support someone like Trump. But we win … We lead. We will win.

Donald Trump is like a twelve-year-old boy who is used to getting what he wants. But today you won’t get that, says John Herter.

John and Carol Herter are Republicans from North Carolina, but they want Trump out of the White House. They have brought a poster with the president’s motto in front of him: You’re fired.
