Two law firms claim to have misled investors.
Polish lawyers said last week that they were considering suing the CD Projekt (CDP) for withholding information about Cyberpunk 2077condition on next-gen consoles, but the Rosen Law Firm and Schall Law Firm in New York and Los Angeles, respectively, appear to be the first to make a difference. However, their demands are not made on behalf of dissatisfied consumers, but of people who have invested in the company on December 16 and 17.
According to the class action lawsuit filed, the CDP should not only have avoided talking about the true state of the game, which is described as “completely unplayable” on next-gen consoles, but also made false or misleading statements. As we all know by now, the condition of the game prompted Sony to remove it from their digital store and both they and Microsoft began offering refunds. The whole situation has caused a big drop in the CDP stock, something that, of course, investors are not very happy with.
