Unfortunately, our idol Caspar Camitz has fallen ill in Covid-19 and therefore will not participate in the final on Friday September 25th. Of course, we put the health of Gaspar and all the idols first and, therefore, we have taken the necessary measures.
For TV4, it is of utmost importance that Idol is a safe environment and we have taken a number of steps to ensure this for our idols. We follow all the advice and recommendations of the Swedish Public Health Agency and, as an added safety measure, we will screen all participants for Covid-19 during the week so that everyone feels safer before the final on the first Friday. Of course, we will also continue to remind all participants of the current guidelines and will constantly be on the lookout for any symptoms of illness.
Caspar says he feels good under the circumstances and is looking forward to coming back next week. Until then, we look forward to airing our first and highly anticipated finale on Friday, and all of our idols too!
