Customers thought that car valuation was free. Then steam a bill of almost 2000 crowns down.

In just one month, the Bilvärdering 24 rating service has been reported 367 times to the Swedish Consumer Agency. The company is therefore the third most registered of the year, reports SVT’s consumer magazine Plus.

– The Swedish Consumer Agency considers that the price information of this company does not meet the clarity requirements of the law and, in the long run, confuses consumers, says Gustaf Danielsson, lawyer for the Swedish Consumer Agency, to Plus .

The authority also criticizes Bilvärding 24 because the company alleges that customers agree to waive their right of withdrawal when they approve the deal.

Car Rating 24 questions the review, but without responding to criticism from the Swedish Consumer Agency. It has also not responded to SVT’s questions, but in an email from a customer, the company states that “all payment terms, including price, are clearly described and regulated in the agreement.”
