Lady Gaga gave a speech in Pittsburgh.
Presidential candidates in the United States were full on the last day before the fateful elections.
Joe Biden enlisted Lady Gaga’s help and Donald Trump warned that a HD decision could lead to violence.
Democrat Joe Biden and his pair of horses, Kamala Harris, were assisted by artists Lady Gaga and John Legend at campaign rallies in Pennsylvania the day before the presidential election.
– It’s tempting to sit down. But now is not the time to feel safe. Now is the time to act, Gaga said as she urged voters to vote.
Biden noted that nearly 100 million Americans have already cast their votes.
– My message is simple: the power to change this country is in your hands. “I don’t care how hard Donald Trump tries, there is nothing, nothing he can do to stop the people of this country from voting,” Biden said.
Biden also visited Ohio, a state where opinion polls are even between him and incumbent President Donald Trump, but where Trump seems to have some edge.
“Corrupt advertising”
Republican candidate Donald Trump, as before, had a busy schedule for the last day and night before the election. Elections in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan were on the agenda. One of the speeches was held at Biden’s birthplace in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
“A vote for Biden is a vote to give control of the government to the globalists, the communists, the socialists, the wealthy liberal hypocrites, who want to silence him, censor him, interrupt him and punish him,” Trump said.
Trump was singled out
Trump also warned of the consequences of a decision by the nation’s highest court, which extended the deadline for when the votes by mail should have arrived.
– When the Supreme Court gave him an extension, he made a very dangerous decision and I mean dangerous, physically dangerous, said the president, without knowing where the danger was.
In a post on Twitter and Facebook, Trump wrote that the decision will lead to electoral fraud and undermine the judiciary. Both platforms chose to mark the post as potentially misleading.
The president chose to end his campaign in the same way as in the previous election campaign, with a speech in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a traditional Democratic stronghold that he surprisingly won in 2016.
“I’m a bit superstitious, let’s do it the same way,” Trump told AFP.
Melania gave a speech
First lady Melania Trump also campaigned, giving a speech to some 300 masked supporters in North Carolina, according to USA Today.
– On Tuesday I ask you to continue to trust our president, he said, accusing Biden of being a careerist politician who has achieved nothing of importance for four decades.
