Bruce Springsteen, 71, was one of the artists who performed and performed via link when the president of the United States, Joe Biden, was sworn in on January 20.
But just over a month and a half earlier, the artist had been arrested for drunk driving, reports TMZ.
According to the site, Springsteen was arrested on the Sandy Hooks Peninsula in his home state of New Jersey.
Springsteen is charged with drunk driving, traffic negligence and drinking alcohol in an unauthorized location, and will be summoned to trial in the coming weeks.
