VG interviewed rock troubadour Bruce Springsteen, 71, prior to the release of his new album “Letter To You.”
But not spontaneously, the questions came up in the upcoming US presidential election on November 3.
Bruce Springsteen on Trump: “he will disappear”
Opinion polls suggest a landslide victory for Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
Springsteen, a well-known Democrat, agrees:
– Okay, Donald Trump will lose. It’s number one, and you heard it first. And our national nightmare will be … I don’t know if it will end, but he (Donald Trump) will disappear. I am sure that he will not be re-elected for a second term, says Bruce Springsteen during the Skype interview with VG.
“I believe the United States will stand together as a nation.”
He prefers that Biden win by such a margin that Donald Trump will not be able to question the election result and remain in power.
– I don’t know if the shit will end. But I want to see a landslide vote win for Joe Biden, so that shit is not repeated in the election itself and we have to wait a few more months to find out who won. It’s just my prayer. But I believe America will stick together as a nation regardless of the tense situation and differences among some of our population groups at the moment, Bruce Springsteen tells VG.
The doctor: “I would not use that word in relation to covid-19.”
