Bracelets to help people with HIV – Uppsala

They stand in line behind a table dressed in red cloth and a trail of light. Moss has nine-year-old boys Zelda Leo and Stina Hising gathered in the woods at home. The children live in Skölsta and attend Årsta school.

The bracelets were made by eleven-year-old classmates Mila Leo, Elin Hägg, Ville Hising, and William Asplund. They are available in two different variants, one in the colors of the Music Aid green, red and white.

Most of them are “old aunts” who act, they say. Some give money without buying anything.

– We have also sold many bracelets to family members, says Ville Hising.

“And some in the family have asked for bags of moss,” Zelda tells Leo.

Moss bags cost SEK 40 and bracelets SEK 20. In the beginning, they also sold gingerbread and homemade scones. They immediately ran away.

– We sold them cheaply, says Stina Hising.

Now they have bought gingerbread that they offer to all their customers.

Five Fridays they have been to the Svavagallerian and they have already collected 2,500 SEK. During Music Aid Week, they should be here more often.

“We who have everything can think of those who do not feel well and are sick,” says Mila Leo.

The goal is, in addition to collecting money, to enter the glass cage at Stora Torget.

– We really want to go in and introduce ourselves and leave the money, says Stina Hising.

– We have sent an email to Music Aid and then we are well outside, says Zelda Leo.
