Per Bohman’s five points from Djurgården-AIK at Tele2 Arena.
✓ 1. No sentimentality
“Did people think that Kim Bergstrand and Thomas Lagerlöf were sentimental?” asked an amazed colleague.
Kevin Walker is a role model, a trained professional, and of course he regrets being demoted to a redundant troop player by the new regime. He told Expressen himself the other day. Of course, he deserves sympathy and backlash for his years of loyal service, but no one can be surprised that Bergstand and Lagerlöf are the type who do not have so much regard for soft values as a soccer coach.
They are often a bit angular, certainly grumpy and rhetorically awkward, but always consistent. Djurgården coaches care about team hierarchies and player status. That Magnus Eriksson, Emir Kujovic and Kalle Holmberg are big names obviously does not matter, Lagerlöf and Bergstrand put stars on the bench without blinking. At least then it won’t surprise me that a loyal Walker servant, who obviously doesn’t fit in, doesn’t come to the conclusion that many believe he deserves.
✓ 2. Djurgården stronger before the break
Djurgården was clearly better and braver in terms of play in the first half, even though AIK, as usual, were solid on the posts and fast. It was not easy to decide on AIK ger Remove the initiative in the parties or if you cannot take it, because it is probably a combination of voluntariness and coercion.
For a long time, it was the same scenario as in the last away games against Sirius and IFK Norrköping. AIK fought low, stood his ground and took most of the stuff off. Every now and then they got the team up, but they went to the AIK in a change, the players running home faster than a seven-year-old scared by the dark. With the ball at their feet, they didn’t have much imagination and were constantly looking for a career that never came. But they stayed 0-0.
✓ Childish frustration, Larsson

Sebastian Larsson is wise, calculating and experienced. You usually know exactly where the border is going, can speak for yourself, and move freely in the gray areas of regulations. It is a skill that should not be despised, which means that it often receives a lighter punishment than it deserves.
Against Djurgården, on the other hand, Larsson was not adept at the legal game of soccer. He had a purely peasant trip.
The veteran fumbled to Fredrik Ulvestad, evidently angered because he was the fewest in the match and could not control his childhood frustration. He slashed the Norwegian in the legs in a way that was beyond ambition to stop a counterattack. It was a violent bet with no chance of the ball and was worth a red card.
4. Reverse Roles: Fair Win Goal
After a break?
Can opener!
It wasn’t the case that AIK rolled down the windows and just gassed, but there was an entirely different risk taking to their game. Filip Rogic, Nabil Bahoui and Paulos Abraham found the central pockets, Per Karlsson and Sotirios Papagiannopoulos dared to push the team and there was a joyous aggression that encouraged. AIK really took on the match in a way they rarely managed outside of Friends Arena this fall. A welcome message to Bartosz Grzelak. Nabil Bahoui’s winning goal also went straight to the performance after the break.
Djurgården suddenly looked very tired. When their pressure didn’t bite, they became hollow, drifted away between pieces of gear, and were constantly one step behind. It was a strange game meltdown that I didn’t expect after the first half.

5. Incredibly strong, AIK
Of course, there is much to be happy about for all AIK members. It is just a matter of choosing among the many messages of strength.
Nine games in a row without losing. Only three (!) Goals conceded during that period. Clear winners of the Stockholm derby (again!). The strongest team of the Swedish team. That an unlikely 678 minutes have passed without AIK conceding a goal with Emperor Mikael Lustig on the team. The European dream is alive, which is completely unlikely.
A couple of months ago, everything was going to hell. Now they are the happiest club in the Allsvenskan after Malmö FF. Bartosz Grzelak and the players deserve all the respect for the total change of scene. It is incredibly strong to still have a trick on the European seats.
