BK Häcken recruits left-back | GP

Leonard Zuta disappeared in Italy and Lecce this summer. Now BK Häcken has found a new left-back.

According to information from GP, Nikola Gulan has signed a contract for the rest of the season with an option for one more year.

The 31-year-old Gulan has previously represented clubs such as Fiorentina (seven Serie A games) and Mallorca (30 LaLiga2 games). Most recently, however, Hapoel Haifa, a club he left when his contract expired in August.

The transition was completed before the window was closed, but as there have been issues with entry permits (Gulan is from Serbia, which is not a member of the EU), no presentation has been made.

Now, however, everything should be ready and Gulan should be ready to play in this weekend’s meeting with Mjällby AIF.

After BK Häcken’s 0-0 encounter with Helsingborgs IF, Martin Ericsson, assistant sporting director, confirmed the GP information on Nikola Gulan. The 31-year-old is ready for the club.

– A qualified player who can play in many positions. Left back, inside back and central midfielder. It has a solid track record, says Martin Ericsson.

– He hasn’t played matches in a month, so we can see a bit based on the form and so on. But we hope you can join right away.

How did you find?

– We only had to bring in players without a contract, so it became a special market. Therefore, also a shorter contract when they do not know each other well. We have seen it on video and have received a lot of information from reliable sources. We hope you can come and support the team during these last seven games. Contribute with your routine and knowledge so that we become stronger.
