Gareth Bale plus Harry Kane are true.

The Tottenham duo continued to show good form and cooperation in the victory match with Crystal Palace.

Additionally, Kane wrote history alongside Heung-Min Son, who has now combined to score the most goals in a Premier League season.

“Kane and Bale are the new Kane and Son,” former Premier League player Gary Lineker tweeted during the Tottenham-Crystal Palace match.

Gareth Bale and Harry Kane had been behind all three goals at home at Tottenham Stadium. The former Welshman started the scoring in the 25th minute, assisted by Kane. Although Palace drew through Christian Benteke shortly before the break, after the break it was the aforementioned Spurs duo.

“I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t feel like I could contribute,” Bale told the BBC.

– It has taken time but that’s how football and my body are. Right now I feel good, I hope the shape remains the same.

Kane best of all

In the 49th minute, Bale first nodded with a new goal lead before assistant king Kane reminded everyone that he, too, can shoot. The full blow, an incomparable smoker a few meters from the penalty area, was partly 3-1 and that the forward had been behind a total of 28 league goals this season (especially). He improved those numbers within a quarter of an hour from the end, then played for “old” fellow radar Heung-Min Son after excellent preparation from jumper Erik Lamela who replaced Bale. In doing so, the two have combined to score the most goals during a season in Premier League history (14). 4-1 was the end result.

It should be added that Gareth Bale has scored in three games in a row at home, something that happened most recently in September 2018 (four games in a row for Real Madrid). Plus, it’s been eight years since he accomplished that feat at Spurs.

The victory completes a good week for José Mourinho whose team climbs to sixth place in the table. The distance to the four from Chelsea is two insignificant points. Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace is still 13th with eight points to spare in the bottom bog.
