It was as the campaign bus of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris headed from San Antonio to Austin in Texas that it was surrounded by cars on the road.

In videos of the event that CNN has posted you can see how drivers wave Trump flags and drive near the campaign bus.

Biden was not on board

According to Biden’s presidential campaign, the cars must have tried to make the bus pull off the freeway or drive slower.

Neither Joe Biden nor his vice presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, were aboard the bus. According to CNN sources, former Senator Wendy Davis has traveled with her, but her staff has not commented on the information.

The campaign workers on board raised the alarm to the police, who then escorted the bus to the destination.

After the incident, the Biden campaign canceled two planned events in Texas. The FBI confirms that they are investigating the incident.

Critical Trump

President Donald Trump har retweet one of the videos and wrote “I love Texas!” Later over the weekend, he became angry at the FBI investigation.

“In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong,” he wrote. Twitter and believes that “the anarchists and anti-phase agitators who set fire to our democratically governed cities” should be investigated instead.
