Biden wants to stop Trump from receiving security reports

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said earlier this week that the question of whether or not Donald Trump should have access to security briefings is “under investigation,” but US President Joe Biden was clear on her position on the matter in a television interview with CBS on Friday. Biden doesn’t want Trump to receive further criticism.

The Supreme Court case against Donald Trump begins next week, but Biden says his attitude on the subject of reviews has nothing to do with it.

– You just don’t need to get the security reviews. What is the value of that? What could he do at all other than the fact that he was resigning? Joe Biden tells CBS.

“I don’t think he can be trusted with such things.”

Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has previously expressed similar views.

– Under no circumstances should you receive further security checks. “I don’t think he can be trusted with that now or in the future,” Adam Schiff said last month.
