The political controversy over who will be a judge on the U.S. Supreme Court is a sign that the system is wrong, according to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
If he is elected president, he will designate an investigation with both liberal and conservative participants to review the system, says Biden in a clip from the television show “60 Minutes.”
– Presidents come and go, Supreme Court justices stay for generations.
The clip featuring Biden aired just before it became known that President Donald Trump’s candidate for HE, Amy Coney Barrett, had been approved by the Justice Committee. The committee Democrats boycotted the vote.
The pressure on Biden is difficult to achieve a more even political balance in HD. Among other things, votes have been raised to increase the number of court seats.
But Biden says the investigation will review a number of alternatives.
– I will ask you to come back in 180 days with suggestions on how the judicial system should improve because it is collapsing, he says.
