US President-elect Joe Biden, right, is hugged by his son Hunter Biden after the November presidential election.
Joe Biden is now commenting on the criminal suspicions against his son Hunter Biden. Complete game, says the president-elect of the United States.
– We have great confidence in our son, says Joe Biden, alongside Ms. Jill, during the talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.
Last week, American media revealed that Hunter Biden, 50, is under investigation for alleged tax crimes, including doing business in China.
– I am not concerned about the accusations that have been made. That used to get to me. I think it’s an ugly game, but as long as he’s okay, we’re okay, Joe Biden tells television host Stephen Colbert in his first longest comment since the news of the tax crime investigation.
Hunter Biden has long been the target of attack from Republicans in general and President Donald Trump in particular. During Trump’s re-election campaign, he repeatedly accused Biden’s son of various misdeeds and called the Biden family “corrupt” and a “criminal organization.”
Hunter Biden’s connections to a Ukrainian gas company have also been the subject of accusations from Trump. The 50-year-old has admitted that he exhibited “bad judgment” in some of his dealings, but denies doing anything wrong.
