Last week, Ubisoft finally unveiled the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and this time the Vikings and Asatro in Valhalla are drowning. The cinematic trailer, as you can see above, looked really stylish and did a good job of setting the stage for the next adventure game. The game will launch on current-generation and next-generation consoles, but Xbox players won’t have to prank the same game multiple times if they choose to upgrade to the X Series on the go.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have support for Smart Delivery, which means that if you buy the game for Xbox One you can also shine in the next X Series. And vice versa. Valhalla is not the first title with Smart Delivery support. Also the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 will also be able to run on both devices as long as you have purchased the game on one of the consoles. And beyond that, all Xbox Game Studios games will support Smart Delivery.
BTW, we’ll be seeing more of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla later this week. Microsoft will run an Inside Xbox broadcast on Thursday where we will see Valhalla and other titles appear in all their glory. The broadcast will begin at 5 p.m. and of course we will release a news about it when the time comes.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will launch at Christmas for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and PC.
