Åsa Lindhagen says to the newspaper that this is a great assignment that must be carefully considered and for which you have to be willing to give your all. She would be prepared to do that too, she says.

Åsa Lindhagen has been Minister for Gender Equality in the government since 2018. Previously, she was a social citizen councilor in the city of Stockholm.
SVT Nyheter has reached out to Åsa Lindhagen for comment, but she says through her press secretary that she will not give further comment until it has been fully decided.
Several MP leaders have said no
The goal of the Green Party is to elect a new female spokesperson by the end of the year. The Nominating Committee opened for nominations on September 1. The nomination period is 4 weeks.
Thursday was Member of Parliament Rebecka Le Moine the first to say that she would like to succeed Isabella Lövin.
Märtha Stenevi, Janine Alm Ericson and Annika Hirvonen are three other politicians mentioned as favorites.
EU MP Alice Bah Kuhnke, Secretary of State Maria Ferm and Culture Minister Amanda Lind have all refused to run for office.
