The US presidential elections are not over yet and during the week, both sides have organized several protests and demonstrations regarding the ballots.
On Wednesday night, the US media reported that more than 150 supporters of President Donald Trump gathered in front of an electoral office in Maricopa County, Arizona, where they chanted “count the votes” in protest against an alleged electoral fraud.
According to the news channels, several of the participants had to be equipped with automatic weapons. The protesters also directed their anger at the Fox News television channel, which that same day named Biden as the winner in the state of Arizona.
“I don’t intend to accept a Biden victory.” I don’t want to live under a communist regime, “one protester told the New York Times.
The march also saw local Arizona politician Paul Gosar, a Republican and Trump supporter, speaking to the crowd.
“We will not allow these elections to be stolen. End of discussion.”

According to the vote count, the challenger, Democrat Joe Biden, currently holds a lead in Arizona with 69,000 votes, with 86 percent of the votes counted.
In Maricopa County, he leads by just over four percent, where a victory would mean that the area, for the first time since 1948, voted for a Democrat in the presidential election.
Keely Varvel, Maricopa County Chief Representative, commented on the crowd and announced that vote counting continues as usual.
“We are still planning to complete work on the planned vote and will announce more results tonight,” he told the New York Times.

Protests have also occurred in other parts of the country. In Michigan, dozens of people have marched in front of an electoral college with messages similar to those in Maricopa County:

The protests in various parts of the country have come in reaction to Donald Trump’s statement on Twitter about electoral fraud, where the current president accused the Democrats of trying to “steal the elections” without any basis for the claim.
