Expectations were high when Apple introduced the new series of Iphone phones. And the speculation beforehand was correct. The new models are adapted for 5G.
In addition to the Iphone 12, a mini version was also presented on Tuesday.
The models can be reserved from October 16 and are available in stores from October 23. The large model will cost from SEK 9,995 in Sweden. Pricing for the mini model starts at SEK 8,695, Apple writes in a press release.
Two more expensive versions with more advanced camera systems were also introduced, costing from SEK 12,495 and SEK 13,795, respectively.
But most of the world’s users won’t be able to use the feature and get faster networks, says Boris Metodiev of Strategy Analytics, for Reuters. The expansion of 5G is still limited in many places.
On Monday, Apple’s stake rose just over 6 percent on Wall Street before the launch. But the increase came on Tuesday. The stock had fallen about 2.5 percent an hour before the stock closed.
