During the final months of the Trump administration, Fauci was out in the cold and barely visible.
Fauci took out the longest straw
But Anthony Fauci was never fired, instead joining the incoming Biden administration as part of their anti-covid-19 task force.
On Thursday, Fauci held a press conference after President Joe Biden presented a series of actions for the crown a few hours earlier.
At one point in the press conference, Fauci was asked a question that he didn’t know the answer to, instead he sent a sour pass to his former employer.
– Understand that it is something new with this administration. If you don’t know the answer, don’t guess, just say you don’t know, Fauci said.
Fauci already sees the difference in working with the new administration.

Fauci did not refrain from criticizing the previous administration. In particular, against the administration’s lax approach to facts and science.
– I don’t want to wallow in the past. But it is very clear that things were said, like the one about hydroxychloroquine and so on, which was very inconvenient because it was very clear that it was not based on science.
“The feeling of being able to be here and say what we know, the scientific evidence that we have, is liberating,” Fauci said.
Last summer, former President Donald Trump advocated for the use of the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine against COVID-19. He urged his population to take the drug also for preventive purposes. Despite reports from the pharmaceutical authority itself that people who took the drug could have uneven heart rates.
