A person has been arrested after an alleged assassination attempt in Täby. Stock Photography.
During the night, one person was seriously injured in connection with a riot in the Gribbylund area of Täby.
– Police received an alarm about the abuse shortly after 9 pm, when they arrived at the scene it was understood that a person had been injured by a firearm, says Ola Österling, a police spokesman.
The injured person was taken to the hospital overnight.
– The person is seriously injured. When the person was taken to the hospital, he was said to be talkable, I don’t know anything else about the injury situation at the moment, says Ola Österling.
Police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder. One person was arrested overnight and has now been arrested by prosecutors.
– The person was arrested after regular preliminary investigative work, the testimony has been combined with police work done at the site, says Ola Österling.
