US President-elect Joe Biden speaks out against outgoing President Donald Trump and his administration.

The tone has been raised considerably by the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, towards the man who will succeed on January 20.

In a speech Monday, Biden accused the administration of current President Donald Trump of endangering the security of the United States.

– We have run into opposition from the Defense Ministry and the budget and administration agency, Biden said after meeting with his foreign policy group.

– In my opinion, this is nothing more than irresponsibility, he continued.

Democrat Biden beat Republican Trump in the November 3 election. But it still took until the end of November before representatives of Biden’s transition team could meet with people within the Trump administration to prepare for the change of power.

“At present, we do not have access to the information we need on key security policy issues from the outgoing government,” Biden said in Monday’s speech.

He also accused Trump, and in particular the Pentagon, of “obstructing” and “undermining” the security of the United States.

– The truth is that several of the organizations (security and detention) that are crucial to our security have suffered enormous damage. They have eroded, in terms of personnel, capacity and morality.

With just over three weeks left for Biden to take office, Trump has not declared himself defeated in the election. He claims that the electoral victory was “stolen” from him.
