It was on Wednesday morning that police raided several locations in western Sweden and also at a location in another part of the country.
Five people between the ages of 30 and 40 were taken away for questioning.
– They were later arrested by prosecutors, says Hans Lippens, the police spokesman in the West region.

The suspicions refer to fraud and money laundering, in several cases serious crimes. Police suspect that the director has made millions by deceiving representatives of various companies. Since then, the money has been laundered through thousands of transactions through various people involved.

“The crimes suspected of being the suspects are being investigated in the fraud section of the regional investigation unit. A large number of police employees with different skills participate in the operation, in addition to scouts and intervention police, also fraud investigators and financial investigators participate in the work ”.
The strike is included in a meeting of forces made by the police against crimes of fraud.
– Fraud is a strategically important crime category that is often used in organized crime, Magnus Lindegren says in a press release.
