According to an Interfax source, Julia Navalnaya flew from Domodedovo airport in Moscow to Germany and to Frankfurt am Main airport.
Alexei Navalny got off the plane in Moscow and was immediately arrested.
Since regime critic Alexei Navalny returned to Russia and was arrested after landing on January 18, Julia Navalnaya has been detained by police in groups during massive nationwide protests for her husband’s release.
She has received a heavy fine but has since been released, which has now allowed her, if the Interfax source is right, to leave Russia.
On February 2, Alexei Navalny was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for violating the rules of his probation for a previous sentence, when he was treated in hospital after being poisoned with a potent nerve agent.
Navalny is on trial for taunting Russian war veterans
The Russian regime has been singled out by investigative journalists and the Western world as responsible for the poison attack, which is said to have been carried out by a special poison patrol under the Russian intelligence service.
Shortly after the verdict, Navalny returned to the court’s glass cage to stand trial for taunting an old war veteran who praised President Vladimir Putin’s constitutional amendments.
