The opposition leader fell ill just over a month ago while on a plane between Siberian Tomsk and Moscow. He was flown to Germany for treatment at the Charité Hospital in Berlin, where it was discovered that he had been poisoned by novitjok.

Navalny feels better now. He remains in the hospital, but has recovered and claims that rehabilitation is progressing slowly.

When Navalny started feeling bad on the plane, half of his team stayed at the hotel in Tomsk. They quickly began to obtain all the evidence in her hotel room, including a plastic bottle with leftover novitjok.

According to the local Health Ministry, Russian investigators took the clothes Navalny was wearing when he fell ill, reports the Russian state news agency Ria. Now they want Navalny back. On Monday, he told Russia to hand them over while accusing the Russian government of withholding important evidence, writes Reuters.

According to Navalny, they removed his clothes before flying to Berlin.

“Before they let me go to Germany they took off all my clothes and sent me completely naked, “he writes on his website and continues:

“Considering that novitjok was found on my body and that contact transmission is very likely, my clothing is very important evidence. I demand that my clothing be carefully placed in a plastic bag and returned to me.”

States of Russia that they are investigating the incident and that 200 people have been questioned, but have not yet launched a formal criminal investigation. First, they want more evidence and have asked Germany to send medical information about the opposition leader.

Navalny claims that the informal investigation that is currently underway is being used to hide important evidence, namely clothing.

According to Ivan Zhdanov, who is part of the Navalny team, the Russian police have summoned the opposition leader’s spokesman and other members of the team for questioning. However, Zhdanov says they will not participate in any questioning because the police have already exceeded the 30-day deadline to decide whether to initiate a formal investigation.
