On Saturday morning, a well-known moose used to enter the Egna hem residential area in Huskvarna.
The bull elk has been there many times before and sowed fear among the residents.
The police officer on duty had previously made a decision on protection hunting because the moose has attacked people and is constantly returning to the residential area.
Shot the moose from the balcony
But the municipal hunter has never had a position to fire a safe shot in previous attempts.
But on Saturday morning a new visit was made when the bull elk had entered a garden.
“The municipal hunter could climb on a balcony and shoot him safely with one shot so that the elk would stay in place without danger to the public.” writes the police on their website.
