Jonas Sjöstedt won tonight’s party leader debate on SVT.
Displays an Aftonbladet / Demoskop measure.
– Sjöstedt returns home in all the camps. It’s also liked by moderates, liberals and center-right parties, says Karin Nelsson, Demoskop’s chief executive.
In his last debate with the party leader, Jonas Sjöstedt mitigated his threat to overthrow Stefan Löfven. Now he said he was willing to give the government and the January parties more time to back down from the latest investigation.
– The answers are so hairy, you don’t know what they really think. But this is worth doing for a few weeks. I’m ready to talk, he said.
Aftonbladet’s Lena Mellin and several other analysts interpreted Jonas Sjöstedt’s message to mean that he was a coward.
But the V-leader’s contribution went home at least among the 1,032 people who participated in the Aftonbladet / Demoskop poll on who won the debate.
Sjöstedt received the highest rating: 3.4 on a five-point scale.
– It feels good, it was also my last party leader debate, he said with a flower broom in hand after the debate.
Why do you think you got the highest rating?
– I think they like job security.

Demoscope: I liked it from right to left
Karin Nelsson, CEO of Demoskop, is not surprised that Sjöstedt won the debate.
– He always reaches very high and is loved from right to left. Even if you don’t agree with it, you’ll appreciate it being clear. In addition, it returns home to both men and women.
Ulf Kristersson (M) ranked second in the poll with a score of 3.3. Ebba Busch (KD) scored 3.2. Jimmie Åkesson (SD) 3.1 and Annie Lööf (C) 3.0.
The figure of the center’s leader is clearly affected by the January agreement, according to Karin Nelsson:
– Annie Lööf used to go very high during the alliance years. She doesn’t do that here. It seems that the moderates and Christian Democrats are disappointed with the January agreement and don’t like it as much as before. At the same time, not as much trust has been gained among the voters of the S and the MP.

Party leaders debated employment, welfare, crime and caring for the elderly.
Löfven rating: 2.6
Stefan Löfven (S) received a rating of 2.6. Nyamko Sabuni (L) and Per Bolund (MP) shared the jumbo seat with 2.5.
Karin Nelsson explains Löfven’s figure by saying that “debates are not her paradigm”, but there are more trends in the survey that provide a background for the grade.
– He is appreciated by his people, but not as much as, for example, Ulf Kristersson, Annie Lööf and Ebba Busch.
– Also, Stefan Löfven is very little liked among others. It has some support among MP voters, but with V voters it is not as strong as one might expect.
