Rescuers are still searching for survivors in Vietnam, where Typhoon Molave, with heavy rains and landslides, killed nearly 40 people.

The typhoon has caused extremely great damage, says Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung.

Storms and storms have hit Vietnam hard and around 160 people have died in central parts of the country last year. In the midst of the destruction, a new storm, called Goni, approaches the region. Goni is expected to arrive in the Philippines on Sunday, with winds of more than 46 meters per second, and then move to central Vietnam next week. So it would be the country’s ninth typhoon this year.

– My house is covered in mud and debris, but I have no plans to clean up because I heard that more storms are coming, says Nguyen Thi Sinh, who lives in Quang Tri province.

– No one had foreseen such a serious flood. All crops and livestock disappeared with the floods. We must keep our spirits high, at least we are still alive, continues Nguyen Thi Sinh.
