Varan-tv will return after its kickstarter campaign ends, with great success.
The goal of the fundraiser was to raise at least 300,000 SEK, and in just a few hours the figure had surpassed one million crowns, which according to the campaign means there will be at least one new full-length episode of the cult series. .

The reason the group started thinking about a comeback was because of everyone who has told them over the years what the series has meant to them.

Varan-tv aired for two seasons on SVT in 1997 and 1998. The episodes were a mix of live skits and prerecorded elements and were described by the Varanteatern themselves as “a crazy show with over 400 kg on stage”.
