But now most of the chain stores are saved and will not disappear.
It is the same family that owned Kompott Mode, which now operates 22 of the stores, through Rabalder AB. In a press release, the chairman of the board also writes that most employees will be able to keep their jobs.
“On September 4, the previous owners of Kompott Mode AB entered into an agreement with the bankrupt estate to acquire the majority of the business. Rabalder AB takes over 22 of the 29 stores and 80% of the employees are offered continuous employment, “writes Jan Berglund, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rabalder AB in a statement.
The Rabalder chain of stores has been around for 30 years and has 120 employees and operates stores from Umeå to Malmö and has, among other things, a store in the center of Gothenburg.
