It was Adriana, 12, who was killed when she was with the dog in Botkyrka this summer.

Parents want their name and photo to be published.

– This is a murder and a crime that is the most important to solve for the Swedish police this year, says the assistant to the family plaintiff, Thomas Bodström, on TV3’s “Wanted”.

Adriana was shot and killed in a rest area in Norsborg, south of Stockholm, on the night of August 2. She was killed while hanging out with the dog at a McDonalds restaurant next to a gas station.

Several perpetrators opened fire from a white truck and Adriana was hit by a passing bullet. She was not the target. According to information from Aftonbladet, the police suspect that the shooting is related to criminal gangs.

– This murder affects everything else. It stands out, lawyer Thomas Bodström tells Aftonbladet.

Now he urges anyone who knows anything about the crime or the perpetrators to contact the police.

– Must be male or female enough to tip, especially for the sake of the parents and ensure they get compensation.

Bodström: “Terrible tragedy”

Through Thomas Bodström, Adriana’s parents approved of Aftonbladet publishing their daughter’s name and photo.

– It doesn’t take much imagination to understand what a terrible tragedy this is for the family and all the other relatives. It should not be the case that a child is shot to death the way it has happened, he tells “Wanted.”

To Aftonbladet he adds:

– Still, since the fire trial in Gothenburg, I have worked with parents who have lost their children. What I have learned is that you never learn. Those affected react in different ways. There is no right or wrong.

Adriana liked to dance and wanted to be a vet when she grew up. She would soon be 13 years old.

– You were never bored of her. She was like an angel. I think she’s an angel now too, says her friend Lilly to “Wanted.”

Several people have placed flowers and candles at the place where the 12-year-old girl was shot.

He messed with his friend before the murder

Lilly had previously told Aftonbladet about her last contact with Adriana. They had contact through social media in the hours leading up to the murder.

– I wrote that I would not come out, because it was late. That he would stay home. But she was hungry and she would take her dog and eat at McDonald’s, she loved it.

They sent the last mass at 3 p.m., about half an hour before the police received the alarm about the shooting.

– He wrote that I was like a mother because I was worried. I replied: I am like an older sister to you. Then I got no answer.

Bodström: “Reveals prejudices”

Thomas Bodström turns to those who moralized that a 12-year-old girl was out at night.

– Reveals prejudices. It is almost as if someone who is turning 13 in Bromma or Lidingö does not sneak away from their parents during the summer holidays. It’s an unpleasant human sight, he tells Aftonbladet.

– His parents are extremely ambitious and hard-working people who did everything they could for their 12-year-old son. Man, don’t chain your son. It is in the middle of the summer holidays, warm and bright outside. Children have legs for running. We also had that in Sollentuna in my time.

No one has been arrested or suspected in Adriana’s murder. Thomas Bodström is hopeful that the crime will be solved.

– The police work full time. I know this is a high priority issue. But you must have a firm footing before you catch someone. It can take days, weeks or years and this crime will never be prescribed by law.
