When a caregiver in Trollhättan was going to settle for his colleague at a patient’s home on Friday morning, the colleague was found dead.
Now a person has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the caretaker, a man in his 30s, died from stab wounds.

Around 7 a.m. on Friday, police in the center of Trollhättan were alerted. The police stated that a dead man had been found and that a preliminary investigation into the murder had been launched, but were otherwise very secretive.
The property was cordoned off for a technical investigation and police were seen searching bushes and a container outside. Forensic doctors were at the scene and police have spoken to and questioned about 140 people, according to Ttela.
Later that day, the police announced that a man had been arrested, reasonably suspected of murder.
The now-deceased man, who is in his 30s, turned out to have worked as a personal assistant in a patient’s home. It was at the user’s home that his colleague found him dead and would replace him on the work shift.
According to information from Aftonbladet, the man must have been stabbed to death.
55-year-old suspect
The 55-year-old man who was reasonably suspected of murder was in the apartment when police arrived. However, the user should not be the suspect of being behind the act, according to Ekot.
It is still unclear what the suspect did in the apartment and what relationship he has to both the user and the dead man.
The prosecutor has not yet ruled on whether to request the arrest of the suspect.
