One person was taken to hospital after being injured in connection with the burning of an apartment in Jakobsberg in Järfälla, north of Stockholm.
The rescue service was called to the scene at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon and encountered a fully developed fire in an apartment. In connection with the extinction work, a bang was heard, something that was initially called an explosion.
– It was a little less explosive. Now it is said that no explosion has occurred, but it is a normal fire, says Ludvig Sääv in the rescue service.
The fire has been extinguished and the rescue service is now investigating that it did not spread outside the affected apartment, which is completely destroyed. The situation of the injuries of those who have been transferred to the hospital is not yet clear.
