The work of developing a new common game scheme is in progress.
– The old game calendar will not move in its entirety, it is impossible, says Ola Rydén.
When Sportbladet arrives at Ola Rydén, manager of the Swedish elite soccer league, Sef, he just finished a video meeting to complete the medical protocol that Sportbladet told us yesterday.
The protocol is a prerequisite for the Public Health Authority, FHM, to allow high-level parties again.
– We are about to complete that work now. One day to go, then he will present himself to the clubs, says Ola Rydén.
The protocol is then sent to the Swedish Football Association, which maintains contacts with FHM.
Parallel to protocol, work on the game schedule is underway. According to Ola Rydén, in all circumstances it will be a completely or partially new game schedule.
– Right now we are establishing an annual plan and a series of alternatives, says Rydén.

Leaving on time
The reason the rules come out on time is that there is an international calendar to consider. It controls qualifying matches for the European Games as well as international matches and is expected to be completed only in late May.
– This means that we can divide the work with the game schedule. We have to put the start of the series first, that is, the games that are before the European qualifiers begin, “says Ola Rydén.
So far, the dates of the rounds have been established, but without establishing how the law should comply.
– We start at that end, setting the dates of the rounds before doing the other, says Ola Rydén.
If all goes as planned, the Swedish premiere round will be played from June 13-14. Thereafter, there are various preliminary dates for the first 10-15 rounds. Simply advancing the calendar of the previous game in its entirety is not possible.
– Then it can happen that the 30 rounds that are still left out are as before, but that must be moved to other dates, says Ola Rydén.
Is the best option?
– I wouldn’t say that one is hotter than the other.
It’s complicated?
– It is always complicated when you are playing games. There are quite a few parameters that should go into the computer lottery key, says Ola Rydén.
